Once upon a time in land faraway called Liberty Hill, lived Prince Brian. Prince Brian was a Senior at his school - Liberty Hill High School. He was planning to attend a very Royal University in the fall of 1989 – Texas A&M. During his Senior year, he received a telegram from the University introducing all of the new royal students. There were Princes and Princesses pictured in this book from all over the country. As he turned the pages of this book, he found his Princess – DeAnn from Houston of the Royal Anderson Family – her hobbies included fishing, dancing and horse back riding. Prince Brian told his friend Kevin that Princess DeAnn would be his queen someday and that he would marry her.
Later that year in the fall of 1989, Prince Brian and Princess DeAnn each made their separate journeys to attend the Royal Texas A&M University. How large and grand the school was to Prince Brian – he wondered how he will ever find his Princess DeAnn. One night in the fall, well after the stroke of midnight, Prince Brian was visiting with his friends Kevin & Angie. They were sitting on the balcony of Angie’s dorm enjoying a little too much of the Royal drink known as Crown Royal.
Princess DeAnn was coming in from a late night of social events at the Honorable Dixie Chicken. She walked to her dormitory and up to the 2nd floor of her balcony dorm. As she strolled down the balcony to her door, she walked past a group of people – 1 adorable Prince in a strange black hat (cowboy hat). This hat was unlike any crown she had seen before. The Young Prince in the black hat looked up at her and was speechless. As Princess DeAnn walked by, she said Howdy and the young man yelled – “It’s the dancin and fishin girl – It’s the dancin and fishin girl”. She hurried to her room and closed the door rather quickly. She told her roommate that she feared she had a stalker.
The next morning the Young Prince knocked on the Princess’ door and apologized for scaring her. Prince Brian explained that he had been looking for her since they arrived at the Royal University. He told her about seeing her in the Texas A&M book. He asked her if she would join him for dinner at Red Lobster. She agreed and they had their first date.
The Prince and Princess later started a serious relationship in the summer of 1990 after their freshman year. They dated all summer and into their sophomore year. In November, Princess DeAnn noticed that the Prince was gone all of time. He loved the sport of hunting so much, that he left his Princess every weekend during hunting season. By Christmas of that year, the Princess had enough. She broke up with her Prince.
The two stayed friends for the rest of their college years. They would see each other at parties and dances – but they never reconnected. There was always a special place in their hearts for each other.
In 1995, Princess DeAnn told Prince Brian that she planned to marry another. This broke his heart. He attended the wedding and never saw the Princess again. Over the years, he would think about her often.
In the summer of 2007, Princess DeAnn emailed Prince Brian through ClassMates.com. The Prince immediately responded and they talked for hours. Each of them was going through a divorce. Princess DeAnn told him of her Grand Hunting Ranch. Prince Brian thought to himself, isn't hunting the reason we broke up?? However, he jumped on the opportunity to see her again. They met at the Ranch and immediately connected. When he saw her again, even after all of the years past, he knew in his heart that he had never stopped loving her. Flames were rekindled, bonds were rebuilt and commitments were made to never part again.
In November, Prince Brian will make Princess DeAnn, his Queen for a day and his wife for a lifetime!
